So you want to connect with a webdav service at your mac os x mavericks but you are getting an error message? Don’t worry…It’s not your fault!

Apple has quite a lot of issues with their https service that doesn’t have a valid certificate. So here what you need to do…

Use Safari to go to the webdav server address (e.g. https://server:port). When prompted, show the certificate and click the “Always trust…” check box and then continue. Now go back to the Finder and connect to the server.
